Born and raised in Montgomery County, Tom is the youngest child of musician parents; his father a Big-Band jazz performer. Since his oldest brother, Steve was a drummer and his other brother a guitarist, it was natural for Tom to become a bassist. During high school Tom was channeled in this direction, but it wasn't until after graduation that he fulfilled the position. Except for four years in the services, Tom has lived his entire life in Montgomery County. During his time in the services, Tom self-taught Bass Guitar. "It was easy to focus on learning the Bass while being stationed in the middle of nowhere." After his time in the services Tom joined the newly formed Flower Power. He has been in several bands over the years, but has had his best moments with Flower Power. "I fondly remember the early days playing old Pink Floyd covers - the ones you don't hear on the radio".
